If you are making a group contribution, please be sure to clearly provide your group name or number on the payment. (Your group number can be found on our meeting list.) A paper receipt of your contribution will be returned by WSO to the address designated.

HONORING THE SEVENTH TRADITION
TRADITION SEVEN: “EVERY GROUP OUGHT TO BE FULLY SELF-SUPPORTING, DECLINING OUTSIDE CONTRIBUTIONS.”
Seventh Tradition contributions not only cover each group’s rent and operating expenses but also provide for every level of Al-Anon service. It is both a privilege and a responsibility for groups and members to ensure that their group, as well as all service levels, remain self-supporting. This support keeps Al-Anon free of outside influences that might divert us from our primary purpose of supporting families and friends of alcoholics.
In adherence to Al-Anon’s Tradition Seven, Al-Anon can accept contributions only from Al-Anon members and, therefore, must decline outside contributions.

While contributions cover each group’s rent and other expenses, the Seventh Tradition is essential at every level of Al‑Anon service. It is both a privilege and a responsibility for groups and members to ensure that not only their group, but all service levels remain self‑supporting. This keeps Al‑Anon free of outside influences that might divert us from our primary purpose of supporting families and friends of alcoholics.
In keeping with Al-Anon’s Tradition Seven, Al-Anon is self-supporting, accepting contributions only from Al-Anon members and declining outside contributions.
