What is Alateen?
Alateen meetings are for young people aged 13 to 18 who have been affected by someone else’s drinking. Teens run the meeting with the guidance of adult Al-Anon members who have been through a certification process.

Welcome to Alateen in Northern California. Alateen meetings are for young people ages 13 to 19 who have been affected by someone else’s drinking. We share our experiences to cope with problems. You can search for Alateen in-person group meetings near you. Find online meetings in the Al-Anon Mobile App.
AMIAS (Al-Anon Members Involved in Alateen Service) are adult Al-Anon members who are certified and trained to serve as Alateen group sponsors and protect the safety of Alateens at meetings and events.
